David Street: I was a child prodigy; having invented computers, modified high speed crime fighting cars, and the first jar of peanut butter and jelly already mixed together ~ before I was five years old. My true passion was art. I took up drawing at the age of three. More like as soon as I could hold a pencil. My head was swollen with ideas and imagines so numerous my doctor instructed my mother to do something before there was permanent brain damage. God bless my dear mother. She mistook his advice for permission to bash me with the family’s suitcase. Unfortunately there was still permanent damage, and now a mark to boast about. Childhood faded into the diabolical teenage years, which turned into the misadventures of young adulthood, which as we all know is in a crash course to marriages and parenting. Fortunately the later gave me seven wonderful children, who oddly enough, I owe my sanity to. During this time somewhere I went back to school. After nine years I have a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts. Current projects are a children’s book and, a non-fiction book about art as therapy. Stay tuned for more on those.
